Class description

Our CircusFit Flexibility classes are designed for every level of flexibility. We work in accordance to your body, assess each individual's range and abilities,  and in turn produce visible differences and improvements in your flexibility.

Some of the core elements of flexibility that we aim to address include:

Hips stretch: Awareness and control of the hip joint and muscles in all directions. Flexibility workout focusing on the hips area.

Front (Box) splits Stretch: Flexibility workout to increase box splits/oversplits flexibility

Side Splits stretch: Legs flexibility workout towards splits/oversplits- important for aerials.

Shoulder and back flexibility stretch: increase shoulder and back bendiness through active flexibility drill.

What to wear

Wear comfy, stretchy clothing that does not restrict your movement. Leggings, tracksuit bottoms, tank tops, t-shirts and sports bras are all suitable attire for our conditioning classes. Bear in mind that baggy tops will fall over your face while in a handstand so try to wear something tight-fitting.

We advice these classes are done barefoot in order for you to learn the techniques effectively and achieve fluid lines through the legs and feet. Socks are optional as long as you’re not in danger of slipping.

Please remove all jewellery and watches and tie long hair back.
